Jeff is a seasoned IT strategy consultant with 20 years of Enterprise Architecture, Governance, and Management experience. His vast technical experience has been balanced with extensive program/project management, process definition/improvement, and standards creation/enforcement. He has an uncommon level of business savvy and an innate ability to communicate effectively with key operational and executive stakeholders throughout an organization. He has breadth and depth experience that covers business, application, and technical architectures across the whole enterprise IT stack. He has more than 20 years of experience in some of the most complex Fortune 500 IT environments on the planet including recent experience at major DC based secondary mortgage company and a global automobile manufacturer.
Jeff has a knack for bridging the communication gap between Technical and Non-Technical people. His experience comes from projects that have typically been National or Multi-National in scope with budgets ranging from 5 to 20 million dollars. He has helped establish and operate EA Offices for various Clients by developing and maintaining frameworks, guidelines, models, processes, procedures, methods and standards. He has extensive background in implementing real-time technologies that assist in maintaining, or advancing, his client’s competitive advantages.
From a technical perspective he is an expert in using Enterprise Architecture frameworks in specifying Service Oriented Architecture (SOA) roadmaps. He has used Zachman, TOGAF, PMI, RUP frameworks to produce EA blueprints that helped his clients understand the current (as-is) state of their business systems and effectively communicate the future (to-be) vision those systems. He has an outstanding working knowledge of Linux/Unix, Microsoft and Mainframe environments, as well as their related component based development platforms (SOA, J2EE, .NET and EAI) and databases (Oracle/SQL Server).
